Heavy Rain

The best part about Heavy Rain is that it seems to fail at everything it tries to do in the best way possible. David Cage's dream of an affecting story is done in by the clown writing and a parade of QTEs to shave and sit in chairs and crawl through traps. The only tension was fighting my innate desire to see every QTE failure, see every way Ethan could fuck up the simplest task like serving dinner or getting electrocuted or stabbed or shot or drowned. I guess even back in 2010 I liked seeing Ethans get fucked up.
Despite the clumsiness and frustration of its QTE marathon it's still a singular and very funny game that holds a warm spot in my heart. At the end of the day how could I not recommend a game where most roads in the hunt for the Origami Killer lead to a child drowning.
???
Quick time events the game. Frustrating at times but a pretty cool story. Not much of a game in all honesty but I did enjoy the twists and turns of the story.
