Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney

I played this originally when it came out and liked it but was distracted by a bunch of other games I had at the time. I’m glad I came back to it after all these years.

Great idea for a game, great characters, great story. I especially like how they weave elements from one chapter into the next and draw in more of the sideline characters to weave a deeper plot which is topped off in chapter 4. I’m actually writing this before playing chapter 5.

Another thing about the story is that it does keep you guessing for the most part. I enjoyed the twists.

Gameplay-wise the main complaint, and reason for not giving it a 10, is that sometimes you get stuck and have to restart because you don’t draw the particular conclusion they’re looking for. You end up guessing evidence and then after you get enough wrong they make you redo from your last save. It’s a weird punishment in an otherwise flawless game. Looking forward to finish this one out and play the other 2 in the series!

Just finished the final chapter and it was super long but awesome. What a great addition to a great game.
