Saints Row IV

I think I may have actually liked this one more than Saints Row The Third.

Saints Row The Third is still holding on to being a GTA game. This one it feels like they just let loose and turned it into a pure mashup action game with lots of different stuff. There's a Streets of Rage section, there's a tank section, there's a text based adventure section-- it has everything.

The comedy is still of course there. Keith David is your vice president. You're the president of the US. The country has been shaped in your image to some extent.

Plot wise it's kind of cool. You're basically in the matrix which gives you super powers and you need to defeat an alien empire that has destroyed Earth.

The super powers are amazing. It basically turns the game into Crackdown, complete with a mechanic where you need to run and jump around the city collecting experience orbs. Loved this.

Really just a fun game.
