Dark Messiah of Might & Magic
Review
Orc kicking simulator. In all seriousness this game probably has the best kick in any videogame.
This game answers the question of: what would happen if you made a physics based might and magic game in the source engine? The answer is a lot of fun.
What's amazing is how well it holds up. The combat, which dates to like 2005, is still better than something like Skyrim.
The story is pretty much garbage. You're an apprentice for some wizard sent to get a gem or some such for his research. And then a necromancer attacks the main city OH NOES. And then you start having flashbacks to -- PLOT TWIST-- the fact that you're the son of a demon lord and basically the antichrist lol. Very forgettable. I don't remember the music. Lots of bugs on PC. It would crash for me maybe every 30 mns to 1 hour.
Overall I give it a 6 out of 10 because the kicking is just so damn good.
