Oh man I adored this game. I must have put at least 50 hours into this game. For sure the only sports game I got super into outside of the NFL/NBA Street games. The thing that really hooked me was that it was challenging and semi realistic but arcadey enough that you could pop in and out and play it. Being on a portable system helped a ton. Perhaps my favorite part however was the fact that you could dress up your avatar and depending on how well you did you'd unlock different items like sunglasses and shirts. So I'd spend hours perfecting maps so that I could get the coolest looking avatar. Fucking great gimmick and a big reason of why I loved the game.

After playing the newest one which is not that good I'm beginning to realize while it was a great game...it was also incredibly grindy. I'm not sure how that affects its rating because I did love playing it for a while. I think I'm gonna ding it.
