Skate 3
Review

To me Skate 3 feels like a bit of a regression in the series. Sure it "feels" smoother, especially off the board movement. But then the physics are less fun and realistic, with your character just flopping off a walls or bouncing off rails instead of pretzeling in over themselves like a vicious, spastic noodle in Skate 2. The map is bigger but it also feels less coherent and more arcade-y with huge ramps everywhere. Huge ramps everywhere because this one feels like it's more about Doing A Meme by hitting a mega ramp at 80 mph so you can Christ Air across half the map than it is about finding the perfect line to, you know, actually "Skate".
I can hardly complain, at least we got a 3rd Skate. Writing out this last paragraph I know I'm only writing these reviews for the original Skate trilogy to stall the inevitable moment when I must install the newest "skate." and find out whether there really still is a Christ (Air) in this world.
???
I think this was legit just the same thing as the original Skate. Maybe the world was bigger or something. I basically bought this so I had a Skate game on a newer system.
