Undertale

It took four years after its release for me to finally play Undertale because the excruciatingly annoying fanbase. And I went in kind of wanting to hate it as a result. I lowkey loved it. It's a testament to the heart and soul of the thing that five years later plenty of it still sticks in my mind. From the dumb comedy bits like the bird carrying you over the river or the dating show, to the heart-wrenching reveal of Asriel's fate, to the triumphant ending. Tying it all together is the music which stands 100% on its own and instantly transports me to all the feelings I had playing the game the first time. Sure the bullet-hell combat added a layer of tedium/frustration to the package but even despite that it's a gem.

PS: MEGALOVANIA is overrated.
