Review
Yes, the mandrill graphics are so good they turned my own ass red and blue. But I dunno if the part of my brain that enjoys meticulously crafting buildings, settlements, and structures was burned out playing Land 2 in Black & White for hundreds of hours or I was spoiled by Sim City 4 but I just cannot be bothered to be engaged by a game like this for more than a couple of hours. It doesn’t help that seemingly the only way to unlock the Cool Animals is to engage in a sort of slavery market of buying, breeding, and selling animals to other zoos. Actually it does help and that’s why I give it 2 stars: one because I am Pro Slavery and one because I am Pro Animal Abuse.

It’s a simulation game. Lots of detail, lots of customization, the detail on the animals is very cool. But ultimately it’s a boring, dry simulation game that idgaf about. Similar to that hospital one. I don’t care about the creative layout stuff, the simulation of running the zoo is pretty boring and rote and grindy, and I wasn’t gonna deal with all that to unlock new animals.
