Warcraft III: Reforged

I had a blast with this game after coming back almost 20 years later. As an adult I understand the strategies and so forth and can actually be a formidable opponent (for the AI lol). Coming back I also loved different things. I loved the lore and how it all connects to WoW. That is especially funny to me having played this before WoW and still making no connection other than "Oh wow look at Thrall and Illidan" or whatever.

I also loved the hero driven campaign missions. Sure, some of them are tedious and drawn out, but I liked the challenge of trying to conserve your resources while also building up your hero in those missions.

Of course the cutscenes are the same and are delightful. I'm also impressed by how good the story was. It's not incredibly well written but it's still very cool.

This remaster really only upped the graphics which I guess a lot of people complained about but for me, as someone who just wanted to replay the game, that's perfect.
