Empire Earth II

Imagine you have a roll of Mentos in your left hand labeled "Civilization" and in your right hand a 2-liter bottle of Coke labeled "Age of Empires". You drop the Civilization-Mentos into the Age-of-Empires-bottle and then you stick your mouth on the end. What happens next is called Empire Earth.

It is a mess, it is chaotic, but lord help me if I didn't enjoy tech-rushing, amassing a giant army of tanks (the unit count was so high!), and just dunking on the AI's spearmen.

Supposedly people didn't like this one as much as the last one but I had a blast. It's basically what if you mashed up Civ with Age of Empires. An RTS with different tech eras. While it felt overly simplistic in a lot of ways I still had a ton of fun just playing bots in skirmishes, bum rushing the tech tree and then steamrolling with my teched up units on their old tech. Good shit.
