Chex Quest

I cannot communicate to you how fucking cool it was to get a CD-ROM in a Chex box as a kid, put it in your computer (or have my dad put it in the computer 'cause DOS), and have it be an actual fun game. My supply of games was quite limited due to the fact that I was 6 years old and here was a FREE one that my parents would actually let me play that wasn't Math Blaster or Word Muncher (admittedly still dope). God I played this so much even though it was kind of scary. I'm sure I never finished it but god damn what a gem.

Chex Quest. What a classic. It legit was a clone of Doom that came with boxes of Chex in the late 90s. Everything was kind of toned down for kids so you were this Chex-man with his laser guns shooting these blobby green monsters. I am pretty sure I actually beat the whole game. It was challenging (for a kid) and actually kind of scary at times. But I honestly remember this being one of my favorite games growing up.
