Pokemon Sword / Shield

Wow the first Pokemon game for a console. Big deal right? Not really. It was kind of mediocre. Really more of the same as the previous games but they removed a ton of Pokemon and added some weird Free Zone area for catching Pokemon?

Story was forgettable. I dunno you want to beat the current champion. There's a bad guy who's like Elon Musk???

Dynamax is kind of lame. There's like group pvp against Dynamax pokemon and it's kind of trash. Yeah man I just didn't really enjoy this game.

It’s a pokemon game. Except this time it’s on the Switch. They also removed a ton of the pokemon. They added in some gigantimax stuff but it’s kind of lame. The park thing they added was kind of cool? But I mean in the end they walled off certain pokemon based on your progression like every other game so I dunno. The story was interesting for a pokemon game because there was seemingly no real villain? And the entire plot is focused on becoming the pokemon master. Oh also no Elite Four. You just beat the Champion.

I bailed right after beating the champion. So that’s the first pokemon i’ve fully beaten since...man who knows? Black?
