Call Of Duty 2
Review
I loved this game. It was one of those first next gen games for the 360 that looked gorgeous and got hyped up a ton. I remember playing the demo in the store a bunch and always having fun. And then when I actually got my hands on it it lived up to the hype. You played as a number of different characters in WWII fighting for different parties (I don't think you'd ever play as a nazi LOL), each one with different guns and missions. And it was just a blast to play. Very tight good single-player campaign.
It's weird to look back at this game as the last Call of Duty that wasn't multiplayer focused. 3 introduced it and then 4...well 4 started a whole genre of games in its own right. But I like to look back at 2 and say this is where it really all began, this is where the hype train started rolling.
