Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree

Imma keep this review simple: it's great. How the hell they make one of the best games ever and are just like "Let's run that shit back" is unreal. It's got potentially my favorite boss in a game ever in Bayle. That second stage gave me chills and each round starting with "Currrse youu Baaayle" made me laugh. More set pieces and vistas and architecture that make you just sit in awe. If I had to ding it I'd say yeah it's a bit flabby. Some areas seem too large for how little content they have. I would have liked some more interesting weapons and armor even if they would imbalance the beginning part of the game. And the final boss is kind of ass. But these are pitifully minor complaints. Even if this expansion had just Bayle and the Scadutree Avatar I would have been a happy camper. Consider me a happy camper.
