Final Fantasy

I only played this a little bit. Maybe 5-10 hours. In the origins collection on PS1. I remember it being brutally hard and lacking a lot of the affordances I appreciated in newer RPGs. But I also appreciated how customizeable it was in how you built your party and leveled up your characters. They were all clean slates and I think you could name them however you wanted. Slowly grinding out and building out your party was fun. But it also has almost no story. Was brutally hard and required grinding and after a while I just wanted to go back to something like Pokemon.
