The Binding of Isaac

One of my favorite games of all time. Damn near perfect roguelike. Every run is fun. It’s challenging as hell. You get better every time you play. I’m saying I’ve completed it since I’ve beaten The Heart but I technically haven’t cleared Sheol, though I have fought Satan (I think he wrecked me).

The music is pretty great. The creature design and general feel is hilarious and great. Grotesque and frightening while simultaneously cute.

I beat mom the month after it came out but apparently didn't finish the full game until after college in 2013.
