Dragon Quest I

There's really no point in writing a serious review of a game made almost 40 years ago. Really I just want to capture that while I wouldn't necessarily recommend playing it now because it has dated a ton obviously due to the barebones combat, the lack of party, the lack of story, the basic graphics (even with the remastered verson I played), I think it's still worth it to play a bit just to get a glimpse into the origins of a very long running and very successful (in Japan at least) series. A lot of the iconography and music and cemented here.
