I have been to Wario's Mecca. It took me buying three separate physical carts to get one with working rumble but it was worth it. I have Twisted my GBA, I have felt the Rumble, I have Smiled from ear to ear as I rotated my Game Boy to make a plane fly through a gap, guide a cat walking between skyscrapers to safety, corralled a pig, picked the open toilet for the man about to piss his pants to use. And even if it is marred a bit by the fundamental structure of WarioWare with it's "play the same random games over and over hoping you'll unlock the next new one to make you smile", it is still joy. It is joy in a little, hunchbacked, translucent cartridge. This is why we play games.
