F.E.A.R.

Terrific old school shooter. I played this a decent amount back when it came out but never finished. This time I binged it till I finished. Ultimately the cool part of this game is the slow mo like Max Payne. That and the shotgun feels fucking great in this game.

The story is pretty mediocre for 2021. You get sent to find some creepy dude, the product of experiments that enable him to telepathically control a whole battalion of troops. And whooooaaa no way turns out you're the product of the same program. What's funny is it turns out the Samara-esque girl is your mom? Which means the guy you kill is your brother. Lol.

Anyway, still fun in 2021 but nothing exceptional.
