Murder By Numbers

I initially was a bit judgemental of this game for seemingly wholesale ripping off Ace Attorney while being made by some Brits. But it turns out the OST was actually composed by someone who worked on the music for Ace Attorney. Not only that but the character models/art were also commissioned from a Japanese artist which shows that the devs really did their homework to nail the feel they were going for.
Ultimately what you have is a lighter more visual-novel-y Phoenix Wright, where it's damn near impossible to not always be pushing towards solving the murder, that's interspersed with some nonograms. And boy do I love nonograms. I think if someone didn't love those little number based puzzles they might hate this game. Or if they didn't play it in short bursts like I did, they might also grow tired of it.
But for my playstyle it was perfect. Not too challenging on the gameplay front, not too challenging from the cute, charming story, and pop in there some excellent music and you have a game I had a great time with.
