Manhunt
Review
Still kind of amazing that I was allowed to play this game. It had so much controversy as being one of the only mainstream games to be up for an AO rating. I think mom had already let me get GTA at that point so what was a little game about a dude who brutally sneaks around and murders people.
What this game basically was was like worse Chronicles of Riddick game built in a GTA engine. Lots of stealth gameplay focusing on melee weapons. Lots of brutal assassinations. That was basically the name of the game. Pick up and try every weapon in the game to see how your dude would kill someone with it. I think they had like plastic bags and weird mundane shit that he'd kill people with.
I remember it being very frustrating at parts. Maybe especially when you got to the sections with guns or the sections with bosses. But overall I remember having a fun time. I enjoyed the gritty fucked-up-ness of the whole thing. It was a good time. I woudln't mind replaying it someday just to see what I think of it as an adult.
