Yoshi’s Island: Super Mario Advance 3

What is there to say here it's a remake of a classic Mario game. It's fun and it's cute. Sure Baby Mario is the worst character introduced in any game due to his petulant fucking crying when you get hit. But at the same time mechanically it's cool that you basically are invulnerable while Mario hasn't yet been abducted by the flying pedophiles. I adore Yoshi so this was always going to be a win. It gets more and more challenging as you go along but I scummed the shit out of it with my Analogue Pocket's save state function which rules. Honestly the only thing I'd nitpick is the music. It was one of the best tracks of all time in that jungle tune but all the dungeon/scary-place music is honestly ass.
Ultimately there's a reason I didn't finish this 20-odd years ago when I got it and that's because while I like Mario games this isn't my favorite.
