Disgaea 2: Cursed Memories

It's funny I love Disgaea but I've given this one a 6. I think it's a fair rating though when you consider where it sits in the series. Disgaea 1 was amazing. A zany SRPG with insanely deep mechanics. The item world, 9999 levels, a bazillion classes-- what's not to love? The problem with 2 is it was basically the same thing...with a different story. And I was never into Disgaea for the story. That was just a dish to serve the SRPG joy. Unless I'm mistaken Disgaea 2 really didn't add anything much at all. And I didn't really care for playing the human hero Adell. Laharl was much cooler. So yeah it was fun but not worth a play through when you can hit up 1 or 4 or 5 or whatever.
